How important is other people’s opinion to you?

Many of us say other people’s opinions don’t matter, yet we constantly measure ourselves through them. From early childhood we learn by mirroring others, which makes external validation feel necessary. But when our self worth depends on it, we create pressure, stress and disconnection. By becoming aware of these patterns and choosing more honesty, we open space for clarity, authenticity and healthier relationships.
